- 3평범한 서른 살 한국인 청년, 최중호. 그는 대학교 시절 탈북자를 만나 그들을 돕는 일에 앞장섰지만 군대복무와 제대 후 바쁜 일상에 탈북자에 대한 생각은 멀어져 갔다. 3년간 방송국에서 일하다 런던으로 유학을 떠난다. 그는 그곳에서 다시 한 탈북자를 만난다. 그리고 좀 더 이성적으로, 냉철하게 북한인권과 탈북자의 삶에 대한 고민을 시작한다. 그는 유럽에 사는 탈북자들을 만나기 위한 여정을 시작한다. 왜 이들 탈북자들은 북도 남도 아닌 제3국에서 살아야 하는 걸까. 그들의 안타까운 행복과 한국의 미래에 대한, 통일에 대한 고민을 들어보자.
Choi Joongho is 30 years old, an ordinary Korean guy. When he was in college, he led people to meet North Korean defectors and help them, but he lost his passion for helping them after he discharged from the military service and started living a hectic life. He left to London for studying after 3 years of working at the broadcasting company. He met a defector again at London, and that experience made him start to think more rationally and calmly about the life of the North Korean defectors and their human rights. And then, he took a journey for visiting defectors who are living in Europe. Why this people can live in neither North nor South Korea and can’t help living in the third country. Let’s listen to their miserable life, struggles of unification and the future of Korea.
